The New Video Frontiers Awards will recognise the brands, agencies, publishers and broadcasters who are pushing video and TV advertising forward.

Eleni Marouli is a Senior Analyst in the Technology department at IHS and a thought leader for the global media advertising research team. Her research focuses on emerging advertising formats such as online video, programmatic buying, advertising technology, and branded content.
Eleni works closely with commercial broadcasters, publishers, financial companies and government organisations to provide expertise, advise, and help to form their digital media and advertising strategies. She is the author of the annual IAB Europe Adex Benchmark and a leading figure in shaping the research agenda for online advertising in Europe.
She is regularly quoted in the press and frequently appears on business programmes for the BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg and Sky News.
Eleni holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics (LSE)
Ian Nock is the Managing Director of Fairmile West Consulting, and has over 25 years experience in high technology research, development and deployment. He has worked in the setup and launch of many services across Europe on Satellite, Cable and IP in diverse roles from Interactive Services Design to Programme Scheduling. Ian moved into consulting in 2004 working for a variety of clients on both vendor and operator sides. He founded Fairmile West Consulting (www.fairmilewest.com) in 2012 as a multi-national, high expertise Digital TV and Media consulting and professional services company, working with large/small operators and technology vendors on product/technology strategy, architecture, and delivery.
Ian graduated with a First Class Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology in 1992 from Leicester Polytechnic (now De Montfort University), undertaking research into flexible packaging dynamics and post graduate research into artificial intelligence based control systems. He jumped into the nascent Internet and Networking industry before moving into TV in the late 1990s and being instrumental in the launch of one of the first UK based Satellite DTH platforms in 1998.

Kenneth is an internet and ad technology veteran who has been involved in a number startup success stories over the past 20 years. He has served in roles ranging from business development to engineering and was one of the co- founders of the Avocet DSP. Kenneth was also one of the first AppNexus employees in Europe, where he spent two years working in consulting and sales. He is now working as a freelance consultant, supporting the programmatic specialists Intrinsic Europe on a number of projects including the launch of the AOP’s publisher alliance.
Samantha Merlivat is a researcher at Forrester serving B2C Marketing professionals, where she covers current and future trends in the media industry. Her research focuses on how changes in media consumption are transforming consumers' path to purchase and their relationship with brands. She helps Forrester clients understand what strategies, technologies, and processes they need to implement to keep pace with these changes and meet customers' expectations across multiple touchpoints. Her research topics include the digitalization of TV advertising, online video advertising, as well as programmatic buying for display, including video and expanding into TV.
Since his early days at Yahoo! In the 1990s, Matt has been working on the front line of digital advertising in an industry-facing capacity. Matt strives to generate industry consensus from senior leaders and drive innovation through collaboration. A frequent speaker, panellist, and chair at conferences and other events including Digiday, IAB, dmexco, AOP (UK), Monetising Media, ad:tech, AdMonsters and corporate-hosted events, Matt serves as an advisor and investor for media technology firms and is an active partner at AtlanticLeap and Prohaska Consulting. Most recently Matt has taken the position of General Manager for The Media Trust in Europe.
